Rules of Polonus Lodz School

RULES OF POLONUS LODZ SCHOOL OF POLISH FOR FOREIGNERS

1. Polonus Lodz School of Polish for Foreigners is a private educational institution conducted in Lodz, at Plac Wolności 12th. The school offers courses of Polish as a foreign language at various levels of language proficiency:  A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, in accordance with the examination standards.

2. These Regulations specify the rules of organization and conduct of all language courses organized by Polonus Lodz School of Polish for Foreigners, further referred as the School.

3. The person responsible for courses and teaching Polish as a foreign language is a owner, further referred as a school director, whose duties include the organization of courses, recruitment and records of students, recruitment and hiring teachers, developing teaching plans and curricula, as well as constant supervision over the proper courses, both in terms of methodology, and organization.

4. Lessons are taught by Polish Native Speakers, with appropriate qualifications and authorizations.

5. Assignment of the listener to the group is based on a free of charge test and, if necessary, talk with the teacher.

6. At the beginner courses no qualifications are required.

7. For foreigners whose native alphabet is not Latin, the School offers Polish courses with an increased number of learning hours.

8. The School is obliged to teach Polish language during individual or group courses. There are groups of 2-persons, 3-persons and 4-8-persons.

9. Lessons are not held during public holidays and  other work arising from the school calendar and Regulation of the Ministry of Education.

- disturbing the teaching process by inappropriate  behavior or disrespectful attitude towards

the teacher and other students,

- non-payment of fee for the course. 

12. It is forbidden to use mobile phones during classes, smoke cigarettes, carry alcohol and drugs within school grounds.

13. In the School students are obliged to follow industrial safety and general fire prevention rules.

16. In matters not regulated by these Regulations, the provisions of the Civil Code shall apply.

17. Failure to comply with the Rules may be grounds for removal from the course.

18. These Regulations apply from 1 October 2011. Any changes to these Rules, the period of its validity, may be placed under the Central Committee with one month's notice.
