Monthly Summer Course

Dates: July 27 - August 25, 2012
Fee: 2360 PLN (language and culture program and activities)
Application deadline: June 30, 2012
The schedule: 
July 27, 2012 -  arrival in Łódź and accommodation
July 28, 2012 - inauguration, the placement test and an integration barbecue and camp-fires with singing
August 24, 2012 - farewell ceremony and diplomas for Summer 2012 graduates
August 25, 2012 - departure from Łódź
The language classes are held on weekdays from July 30, 2012 to August 23, 2012. 
Language and culture program:
- four classes of Polish per day 
- city walks with Polish language
- evening conversations
- Polish cuisine, traditions and customs (workshops)
- film presentations (shows of Polish film classics with English subtitles)
- linguistic games and activities (phonetic workshops)
- visiting theater, museum and gallery 
Sport activities: 
-  swimming (Aquapark and visiting the Sport and Recreation Center in Arturówek),
-  horse riding lesson (trip to the Lodz Horse Club)
-  walks (trip to theŁagiewnikiForest and Łódź Hills Area of Outstanding Beauty and place to visit around the Park)

3-weeks Summer Course

Dates: August 3 - August 24, 2012
Fee: 1640 PLN (language and culture program and activities)
Application deadline: July 3, 2012
The schedule: 
August 3, 2012 - arrival in Łódź and accommodation
August 4, 2012 - inauguration and the placement test and an integration barbecue and camp-fires with singing
August 23, 2012 - farewell ceremony and diplomas for Summer 2012 graduates
August 24, 2012 - departure from Łódź
The language classes are held on weekdays from August 6, 2012 to August 22, 2012.    
Language and culture program:
- four classes of Polish per day 
- city walks with Polish language

Fee: 1320 PLN (language and culture program and activities)

August 17, 2012 - arrival in Łódź and accommodation
August 18, 2012 - inauguration, the placement test and an integration barbecue and camp-fires with singing
August 30, 2012 - farewell ceremony and diplomas for Summer 2012 graduates
August 31, 2012 - departure from Łódź
The language classes are held on weekdays from August 20, 2012 to August 29, 2012.    
Language and culture program:
- four classes of Polish per day 
- evening conversations
- Polish cuisine, traditions and customs (workshops)
- film presentation (shows of Polish film classics with English subtitles)
- visiting theater and museum
Sport activities: 
-  swimming (visiting the Sport and Recreation Center in Arturówek),
-  horse riding lesson (trip to the Lodz Horse Club)
-  walks (trip to the Łagiewniki Forest)

Accommodation (not included in the fee): 
Polonus Lodz School of Polish for Foreigners is not yet a residential school but organizes accommodation for students. We can help you find the ideal permanent accommodation to suit your needs and lifestyle in Łódź. With us this process will be easy and enjoyable. The type of accommodation you choose will depend on your personal circumstances and your budget. There is a wide variety of accommodation types in Łódź to suit different budgets and needs. Depending on your budget and personal circumstances, you may consider staying in a private hostel or renting private housing, apartments, condominiums and serviced apartments. We offer lists of hostels, bed and breakfast hotels and emergency accommodation in Łódź. Before you arrive to Łódź you should decide on the level of comfort you require and prepare a list of your expectations and questions to ask. Kind of accommodation depends on your budget, length of stay and whether you are alone or not. You can share an apartment with other students, rent a whole apartment or stay in hostels. 

Payments should be sent no later than one month before the beginning of the course. The program fee is non-refundable in case of resignation during the course.
